Class starts this coming Monday which I'm rather looking forward to after such a long break. Side effect of holiday overdose is MDD-motivational deficit disorder (cool cliché for the word lazy eh?) so I'll just post the pictures

Decided to take advantage of the TRS since I was going back home so bought one of this (^.^)

Was not really into console gaming at all but the cost of pimping up my computer to play the games produced nowadays is seriously burning a whole in my pocket. The concept of playing FPS with the joy-pad compared to the regular mouse & keyboard method was even unacceptable before getting this machine.

Been playing Gears of War with Jason for the past 3 nights, though not as responsive and accurate compared to M&K, it's alright when you've gotten the hang of it. While we're on the GoW topic, I've a confession to make. This thing here scares the living crap out of me~! It is noisy, ginormous and downright fugly.

No use pumping it full with depleted uranium munitions like the other monsters. All the player can do is run and pray that it doesn't get you 1st.

(Edited: Just found out that the game makers called "it" a SHE.. (=.=)")

Well, looks like it's gonna be a slow week ahead with nothing much going on for this week apart from tomorrow's Apollo Group Inc (NASDAQ:APOL). It's rather risky to enter this time around I'd say, a good time to kick back and relax. (^.^)

Wow, I must've missed out some really juicy information on Constellation Brands Inc. (STZ) and Apollo Group Inc (APOL). Both counters were very active where STZ gapped more than a dollar and APOL's major recovery pre-market spike.

Such degree of gapping may be due to the constant reporting on major news agencies towards each company's earnings announcement.

There is a misconception that bearish market would be a bad time to invest. As I've mentioned earlier on, it all balls down to doing your homework, using the right strategy and a bit of luck.

Robbins and Myers soared upon NYSE opening bell. As mentioned earlier on in Friday's post I did not enter because I was not able to convince myself therefore missed the chance. However it is rewarding to know that the hunch was accurate. These are important experiences to help guide proper decision making later on.

Stock to watch before the end of today's trading session: GenCorp Inc. (NYSE:GY) and Constellation Brand Inc. (NYSE:STZ). Both counters are rather bearish. Another very bullish counter to check out is Schnitzer Steel Industries Inc. (NASDAQ: SCHN).

With the a long weekend coming up this week and several key development reports being unveiled, there is a higher tendency for investors to initiate shorting. Therefore I'd predict the upcoming days would have lesser volatility.

The dilemma was to go for Call or Put orders for Robbins and Myers Inc.
Reasons for Call:

Has links to the oil sector, newsflash a moment ago on projected oil price soaring to $170 per barrel by August 2008 (CNBC 2008) may drive stock prices up for related industries
Reasonable 3rd fiscal financial performance compared to others in the same industry
Good overall track record

Reasons for Put:

Price profile approaching resistance level however still doesn't seem to exhibit much momentum to support a breakout trade
Recent announcement of a drop in Durable Goods Order (US Census Bureau 2008)
Overall bearish market condition
Higher investment turnover if stock goes down

After much contemplation, I can't make a decision and be at peace with any of the points mentioned above. So, no hero ninja this time (^.^).

Okay, now that I'm not ninja-ing, there's a hunch that it may go up on Monday's trade then again I might be wrong.

Holiday

It's almost half way through with my 2 months holiday and I'd have to say the timing has never been better. Had ample time for a pit stop and do the stuffs that.. well.. normally would not really have the time to do.

Managed to get in touch with friends that I've lost contact with after high school- Annie and Kevin. Annie you are still as bubbly as ever, and Kevin my man, chick magnet as usual, make sure you get your arse down here from Brissy next week aye? (^.^)

These few weeks also been busy watching dramas and animes. Had just finished Zettai Kareshi this morning, it's rather touching towards the end of the episodes which kinda makes up for some of the kayu actings in the earlier part of the series.

And there was Shaman King, and To-Love-Ru

Gonna start with this TVB drama 银楼金粉 next week or so.
A sneak peak of episode 1 looks like it is gonna start of with with a big big bang.

Been also catching up with any news I can get my hands on (ie. gossips, politics and economics). Not much going on for gossips though, but heck loads of politics and economics. Politics, I would not touch on it as it is too complicated for me to understand. Just knowing about some of the key developments is sufficient.

As for economics, I've had more time to polish up my trading skills. With oil prices reaching stratospherical level and global economics in recession, combinations of both of these things have made the market extremely tricky to initiate any tradings. Diving into any trade now is sort of like trying to dodge hails of bullets in cloud of smoke and getting out alive. But, "time of instability (like this) is also where opportunities are-Sun Tzu", the trick is knowing when to dive in by properly doing the analysis, how to dodge the bullets by applying the proper strategies, and finally a touch of luck. I've no experience in trading in such confusing market so decided to give it a go. Gonna go in ninja style, get in and out as fast as possible just for the experience and with some takings if the Market permits.

Have been looking at this for the past hour or so and I'm still undecided. Heck.. with prices looking something like Torsades de pointes is not very encouraging.
On a lighter note, at least managed to get something out of Winnebago Industries.

Was too excited and placed the Put order earlier than I was supposed (actual order should've been on 19/06 instead of 18/06) to which would have been a killer mistake but thankfully it all worked out. Another reminder to self, leave emotions out when trading.

Woot, 3.5 hours left for me to decide whether or not to take the plunge. Wish me luck, till next time. Ciao~!

Been SUPER DUPERLY BUSY with all the things going on this final year.. feel a lil chatty today so decided to pop by to say hi to you all~!

1. NO I'm NOT DEAD..... YET

2. Half a year more to have my 1st wish granted *fingers crossed* (>.<)

3. Xmas in the big apple end of the year perhaps? hehehe..

4. Gotta wait till June/July for the 2nd gen iphone, hopefully it's not anchored to some phone company like what it is now with AT&T which i strongly doubt Apple would be.. well.. so un-Apple-ish.

Mean while, I have this cute shuffy to play with.

5. Compiling this 58++ pages killer report/thesis (and it's only the 1st draft~! =.=") within 3.5 weeks and the dateline is next week.. omg..*faints*

New year... New insights

It's the 1st day of 2008, so I've decided to scrap the "Sux List" previously available. After having it there for quite sometime, that particular list did more harm than good..Well, not that I'd expected it to do good anyways, but do harm?! That came as a surprise I'd say.

Looking at the list every time, directly it doesn't seem to have any effect however indirectly it's been messing up my state-of-mind particularly during the exam period. I couldn't sleep well, couldn't eat well..heck.. couldn't even poop well. At first, I'd dismissed all of these symptoms as exam stress. After all the dust had settled, that was when I realized what went faux pas. By magnifying the bad stuffs, I'd subconsciously stressed myself out already and it got worst when external pressure came into play. Drove me up the wall that time but still had to try keeping my sanity.

The "Wish List" is an utterly opposite story all together. It is the total inverse of "Sux List", except the surprise part though.. =P.. both lists were surprising but W.List was the gobsmacking one. It feels good when there's something good to look forward to, even better when the stuffs are achieved. Nonetheless the objectives must be within or slightly more than one's capability to do so or it's gonna be another fertile stress spawning ground.

Couldn't even recall why in the world the S.List was up there in the first place.. hmm.. now that it's gone there's no need to think about it already. Have yet to come up with something to replace it yet but will see how things go but definitely no more stuffs like this anymore. On a lighter note, heheheh.. 5 more new stuffs to look forward to.

One more thing before signing off, just would like to share with everyone a very short sentence taken from an insurance ad near the crossings of Sultan Ismail and P.Ramlee road, was waiting for the traffic lights to go green at the junction during lunch hour today and it caught my attention:

Trip: Europe

Was suppose to go on a 3 dude backpacking trip with coussies but due to some last minute changes it ended up a family trip instead.
The last time I stepped onto European soil was 5 years ago though this trip we went back to the countries I've already been there before but the experience was different all together because this time involves a lot of ~~shopping~~ sightseeing (^.^)

Day 1 & 2: France

The whole morning was spent visiting sites around the heart of Paris and I've to say the traffic was as horrendous as the jam 5 years back then but this time they had added a bus lane so we weren't caught in the gridlock.

Decided to splurge a lil to get my head off from worrying about results. Oh ya, did I mention that non-EU residents get around 15% (7% for Swiss and 17.5% in the UK) off stuffs purchased in most of Europe? Yup, we get tax refund or V.A.T. as they call it there, so branded stuffs are substantially cheaper than purchased back home.

By the end of the 1st day we had to utilize the spare luggage already... =P

Day 3 & 4 : Switzerland

The only complicated issue about this Patek Phillippe is the price.. *jaw drops*, and this is only the entree, wait till they open the underground safe vault that's when the main course is served. Naturally no photo taking was allowed in the vault, all I can say is that the watches are superbly handcrafted and very very very expensive.

Those watches were way way out of my league, so I settled for a Swatch instead. Dad also treated himself with a nice watch too.

Day 5 : Germany
Quick stop at the city of Cologne

The Kölner Dom dedicated to St. Peter & the Blessed Virgin Mary. The cathedral itself is an engineering marvel, it took over 600 years to build starting from the 11th century measuring about 150 meters in height, no cement, no nails.. and it is still standing..*salute*.Nearly fell over while taking this photo, tried to fit the whole building into the picture.

More shopping.

Had this friggin big pork knuckel for dinner, hmm.. big is an understatement. The piece of meat was GINORMOUS~! about size of our library's Merck Manual, seriously. So were the cutleries, they were huge. Dang, the pictures aren't doing any justice for the meal. Everything also super size there.. no complaints about the beer though.. a whopping 1.5L mug.. BwAHAAHAH....

Day 6 : Netherlands
Pop by Amsterdam to pay cousie sis a visit.

Day 7 : UK

2 hour eurostar to London city center, one thing I don't like about the train is that the seat has no reclining function.. gosh.. sleeping while sitting almost upright is a real pain.

So that basically sums up the trip. I'm experiencing jetlag now, have to refrain from sleeping till tonight so gotta go find myself something else to do.... but what to do har?

I'm diggin' this, I'm diggin' this, I'm diggin' this~!
For the 1st time I'm actually into console gaming platform. Have had a few cracks at other gaming consoles like xbox and ps3 however those didn't turn out to give much oomph. Just happened to pop into EBgames earlier today and there was this Wii demo goin' on so I decided to go try it out. Boy oh boy.. this lil' piece of gadget is a gem and what i particularly like about it is the controller which allows the player to be totally immersed in the gameplay.

Sis was watching me having a shot at Mario Party 8 and she too joined in to play. She went ga ga over it and still is right now.. hahaha..

Shall ask her if she wanna chip in to get one of this or not.. =P *fingers crossed*

T-minus 2 days to finals, am really feeling the heat right now. Basically managed to complete my revisions and the brain is like TOTALLY saturated.. right down to the molecular level . Should've started doin' revision earlier on i guess.. owh well.. will keep that in mind for the next biggie exam (if i can remember)

Stumbled upon this song "Timeless" on itunes the other day and when i googled it for more info (to look for free download of the song.. heheheheheh)

Boy was I not prepared for the following surprises..made another stumble.. and another.. and then another.. OKAY, didn't know not keeping up to date with entertainment news can hurt this much~~ ouchie.

Had patient counseling test this afternoon, had been trying to stomach 13 weeks worth of info within a few hours the night before and all was over in like what.. less than 10 minutes? Hellow everyone~! goodness finally after such a long period of time I've something to share with everyone.
It's been a week since I've arrived here and things have been going quite well than expected earlier. The weather is sunny & nice, food is fantastic and not to forget the ppl here are superb (ok minus those rowdy drunkard singin and barfing on the streets).

Night out at Asian Heritage Row

Yep... it's thursday night again and what more better ways than turn such nights into an interesting one by -- CLUBBING~!

The venue was none other than The Loft along Asian Heritage Row along Jln. Doraisamy. As usual, gathered some kaki clubbers then off we went.

The place was rather empty when we arrived around 11 pm nonetheless got ourselves a table and a bottle of JD rather quickly. While waiting for the crowd to arrive we helped ourselves with the drinks and got primed with the RnBs spun by the DJ, some remixes were really nice for which i still can hear them reverberating inside my head.

Guess who's the noob and who's da pro drinker? *hint : never judge a book by its cover* joking la yeah? =P

Aftermath : a bottle gone in 40 minutes.

Had only about 3 hours sleep and it's 8 am already.. showered and went out to have dim sum with some frens. After breakfast they went shopping while I met up with sean, shirley, alec and the others at sunway lagoon. It's been quite sometime since i've last came here not much has changed though.. constructions constructions and constructions.. While waiting for the ticketing counter to open , sean chowed down the egg & tuna sandwich prepared by the gals, had one of that also which was tasty.. yum yum.. Here's the "tourguide" buying tickets. 5 minute photo session with "sakai" at the entrance Sadly, the cam had to be kept inside the locker for the rest of the trip inside the park which was kinda potong steam as there were a lot of cool photos which could've been taken. Hmm.. how much $ is the new olympus cam with shock & waterprove?

Not many impressive new rides in there however there was the the 360˚ turn pirate ship which inflicts pain. Seriously.. that thing can and will give bruises if the restrainer harnesses are not properly mounted. Words of caution for those who wanna try, guyz look out for the T-bar which secure ur legs as the bar will break ur balls if that goes too tight; chicks look out for the overhead shoulder bar as it'll shrink ur bra cup from B to A if that goes too tight also.

All in all the trip to SL was an enjoyable one with loads of screams, laughs and getting really REALLY soaked. Thankz ya all.. lets have more of this kind of outing next time d.. :-P

Here's the post which was suppose to be up yesterday
AHhhh~~it's always nice to have a warm shower after goin out whole night. Boy.. all i can say what happened for the past 6 hours of the night can be made into a rather interesting short story which consists of the opening, development, climax and ending.

It all begun when our weekly schedule came out.. OMG.. NO LECTURES ON FRIDAY~~!! What to do then ? Ghetto Heaven yo~~!! Therefore then, managed to assemble a battalion of 11 and off we went.

Left home about 2200 to pick up tj, mk, wm, kl & lx while Dan, Sean, viv, jason & ade went in another car. The journey to KL was rather hilarious as mk started la talking about what wm's aunt going to do to him when he brings her home late.

Headed to check out Bond/Martini bar @ Avenue K. Ambience was nice with all the contemporary decor a rather ok dance floor and plenty of seats for people to chill and hang out. Left the place in favour of Luna (again~~:-P) as the crowd was a small & the aircond was freezing the gals inside out. Rachel the happening gal joined in the fray when we left for Luna.

When we got to Luna, taadaa.. i banged into zh's car which was following behind cz i stupidly reversed the car without really taking a good look what was on my 6. As my car was on a slope i went for a Neutral gear instead of a Reverse which i'm glad cz the damaged sustained might be even serious if it was in R then. The impact was like 2 whales humping..BOOM~! I was like : S**T THIS IS NOT GOOD..SCARED EVERYONE SUMMORE.. POTONG STEAM LIAO LA THIS OUTING! I'm SO SO SO SO SO sowi zh.. let me know if u wanna get that front bumper of urs fixed ok? As for mine.. the bumper was intact cept for a small one cent coin sized paint which came out.

That matter resolved for the night we pressed on chilling at the bar trying out basically most of the cocktails available in the menu. I had Screaming Multiple Orgasm which tasted rather inviting as the drink was a mixture of sweet rich chocolate and choc liquor. Left for home around 0130 (Technically mk should've lost all his limbs liao by now..:-P)

Darn.. like banging another another car was not enough.. there was a road block at Jln Hang Tuah. The car was carrying 7 which was way off the max carrying capacity and having a driver who had jz downed half a dozen Kamikaze shooters & SMO, definitely not a nice combination. Then mk, kl & tj came up with a classic manouvre which involved 3 of them getting off the car while we drive pass the cops then regroup futher down the blockade.

After that it was smooth sailing all the way, dropped the gals back home & went mamak b4 getting home around 0430.

And yesh mk still has all his limbs attached to his body.. (@.<)

Had jz completed the latest chapter of Bleach which was wicked~!! PW~~!!! splendid recommendation.. GAHAHA.. This adds onto my list of "must read" manga together with Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist, Chrono Crusade and Saiyuki in which all of them have compelling storylines which never fails to keep one asking for more.

Well if you are new to the BLEACH anime/manga this introduction will give you a better understanding of what this is all about.
The main character Ichigo is a teenager who can see ghosts/spirits and by a twist of fate met Rukia Kuchiki, a Shinigami (Soul Reaper) is out on a mission to find evil spirits called Hollow.
The concurrence of Rukia and Ichigo leads to many adventures which, with a lot of humor along the way. The story continues with many twists and turns with action, adventure and comedy.
The story has yet to come to a full stop after 91 volumes of manga and I can't wait to get my hands on v92 which is scheduled to be released in few weeks time. So Kubo Tite (author) .. can u plz hurry~?!! huh?!! HUH?!!

Meanwhile I shall get back to this K-drama titled Palace (宫） which is nice to watch. Will be bak with more updates on this drama.. :-P

Sowi ppl have been really really busy for the past few weeks and there's suddenly so many events clashing together namely the start of Sem 4, meeting up friends who're back for holidays, having skirmishes for GuildWars Faction and Nightfall PvP which has jz ended tonight, last but not least Malaysia Mega SALES... BWAHAHAH~!!

Nothing much to elaborate about studies though cept on one thing that kept me still going back to the books after spending hours on GW is the thought of : Do or die in Sem 4. This is the phase where it's either I get to go over to Adelaide nxt year or spend one more year again in Klang. Aish.. as usual I'm gonna keep all my fingers crossed n pray hard. Not to mention starting my engines already... :-P

Benson came back from Germany last monday, followed by LiChin n Jess from Russia.. more arrived later on. So all of us met up during the weekends and i know i've said this already but here it is again.. OMFG!! U ALL GO THERE STUDY OR BOOZE ONE?! AND JESS.. VODKA IS NOT FREE KAT MALAYSIA OK SO DUN FRIGGIN DRINK SO MUCHIE HERE..

Now.. on to GW. Had been trying out different builds for me monk character and finally settle with being a SS monk as assigned by the GuildMaster. Story made simple , GW is an online multiplayer game and PvP (player vs player) is the arena where gamers of various guilds battle against each other with characters consisting of warrior, monk, necro, ranger, mesmer, assasin, ritualist and elementalist. SO what's the big deal of spending so much time on this? well... cz it's addictive and i'm all over it d..

Therefore, after all the hectic stuffs it was kinda nice to finally unwind.
Luna bar it was.
Had the usual Flaming Lambo which was slightly more "flaming" than the ones i've had b4 cz it had a lil more Sambuca.. solid..Then there was half a dozen shots of Illusion which tasted a bit like frutified Ventolin. Still prefered FL though.. :-P

HK Trip: part 1

Finally, after 3 days I’m able to get myself an internet connection. Now for the 1^st installment about the trip.

The journey to hk took about 3 hours and 40 minutes which is actually quite fast given that it takes about an hour for the plane to be at cruising altitude and cabin crew to serve your meal. The following hour and half was spent on fiddling with Mixmeister in my lappie whilst the remainder time was spent sleeping.

Got to TsimShaTsui had lunch there with dad’s friend and later went around the shopping mall at Harbour Front: The Gateway. The mall has most designer brands that you can think of ranging from Aigner to Zegna not to forget some local brands like A/X (Armani Exchange it isn’t, notice the “/” instead of a “│”, it’s All Exclave.. *rolls eye* WTH is exclave?)

Hmm, this was a last minute spontaneous plan so was rather busy getting prepared for today. So now here I am waiting for the time to board the plane to HK. Brought my lappie with me so might as well blog while waiting then.

Surfed around b4 this and I noticed that KLIA is one of the airports which offer free WiFi access to all passengers around the international departure area which includes the center court and all the C terminals. All one need is a laptop with WiFi and a simple registration which takes less than a minute to complete... Sweet. For those without their lappies there are a few pc available at the center court for you to check your mails and surf but you'll have to queue up as the coms will be usualy occupied.

I've been back from Melaka for like 2 whole days (Sat & Sun) to count in today is already 3 days and it's only half an hour back (2100 hour) that I really got a stable connection. WTH is with the stupiak streamyx anyways?! Thank God there are so many entertainment places around KL or I'd be bored to death already.

Nvm that, the weekends were rather eventful considering I had like less than 4 hours of sleep for both Sat & Sun, thaound shopping comnks to World Cup and Sales happening arplexes in Klang Valley. Sometimes I think holidaying is both physically & mentaly draining, not to forget financially demanding too, than the usual study period. HAHA~! Still I'd rather have holidays than studying. SCREW studies!

Today was rather free so went to watch Tokyo Drift and NO~! I'm not outdated ok! Jz that the few weeks back were rather busy for me therefore then, so and so forth.. The show was nice especially the drift scenes and the kawaii nihon chicks also.. hehehe.. the ending was rather interesting as Vin Diesel came in with his souped up Mustang which IMHO suggested a possible sequel for the Fast and the Furious series.

It was 630 pm when the show ended. Not wanting to be caught in the usual KL rush hour jam so went and had late tea at Bakerzin. Had Mango Mousse and Sweet Pleasure which were scrumptious~! Thumbs up for the cakes. More info plz visit http://www.bakerzin.com/

Starbucks Coffee: Java Chip

Back so fast again with another Starbucks review but this post would be rather the first hand type as this current blend had just been launched by SB today. Surprisingly there weren't any announcements made for the current blend on it's website at the time i'm blogging this.

Exclusively to you by Klangboy, this is the all new blend from starbucks called the Java Chip (JC). JC is suppose to replace my all time favourite Rhumba~~geezz.. i miss u Rhumba.. sobz..
One can opt for either the Java Chip Frappuccino® with blended coffee or the Chocolate Cream Chip Frappiccino® with blended cream. Sizes range from tall to grande to venti. To provide comprehensive reviews about JC, both types were ordered for tasting.
At RM 14 and RM 13 respectively for the grande size IMHO are rather overpriced. From the looks of the blends they definitely resembled Rhumba. The coffee JC was slightly darker in colour compared to its chocolate cream counterpart.
Now for the Java Chip Frappuccino® with blended coffee first. This one comes in a rather mild coffee where I would not recommend to those who really want to have a nice coffee drink. Nothing really special with besides that it tasted somewhat similar to Rhumba minus the chunky chocolate chips. This one has only tiny wiiny bits of chocolate where it barely triggers any sensation to the taste buds, no thanks to the coffee that masked out the chips also. 2 out of 5.
Moving on to Chocolate Cream Chip Frappuccino® with blended cream. Chocolate junkees out there keep your eyes peeled for this one cz it's going to be one drink that you'll crave for more!!
The choc blended cream is so smooth that it slips effordlessly to the back of your throat leaving behind a coat of rich chocolatie sensation on the tongue which lingers. Before the time for the first wave of oesophagic peristalsis is completed you'll have the second sip of this baby already waiting in the oral cavity. Simply irressistable~~! The downside to this blend is also the size of the chips.. THEY ARE NANO SIZED!! =.=". 4.5 out of 5 (would've been a 5/5 if the chips were chunkier!!! AARRGGHH)

Ah, another coffee review, but this time the lead actor/actresses whichever you might wanna call it (no gender discrimination here) would be French Roast-Extra Bold (FREB).

Was dozing off at work for the past few days but today was particularly sleepy which in fact I actually slept about an hour in the staff's lounge.. Hmm, lounge is a rather exquisite word for beautifying the actual condition of the place nonetheless I shall stick to that cz I HAD actually slept in "The Den" today! OMG! *Smacks head*

SO.. FREB is here to get my mind off the nightmare. I present to you FREB!! TAADAAA~~~!

Looks like FREBbie is really doing a good job here, now I'm a lil bit hyper already after having one cup of it. Nice.. cz I really need this to survive the evening at Purebar (AGAIN~~?!!). Oh yeah it's Wednesday ladies night out at Pure. :-P
This blend comes with a rather intense roasted bean aroma. Frebbie here is more intricate than his/her looks, further tasting will uncover the hidden essence of this blend where the presence of traces of almond and butter accentuates his/her uniqueness.This one has quite some serious molars of caffeine cz I'm half way done with my 2nd cup and already all hyped up. Highly recommended for those who require instant energy boost like this person here with his caffieneless chocholate cake. (Notice the de-SanSin-ified™* expression)

Before I start this I'd wanna thank JL and her family for the lovely steamboat dinner on Sunday nite. ARIGATO~!!

Went to her place around 8pm, Kev was already there digging in happily. Then came MK and KL to join in the feast. WEEE~~!!

Never knew that steamboat can somewhat inhibit selective reuptake of serotonin cz everyone was like on Prozac® and was on natural high within 30 minutes.

Then started the "Leng Kun" frenzy when we saw a mushroom that looked like D**k. (Leng kun is another word for D**k in Hakka). I'll stop elaborating on what happened next and let the pictures do the talking.

Was busy recharging yesterday so wasn't in the mood to update the blog but thanks to all the nice nice food I've had for the weekends I'm REVIVED~~!!! Eish eish, Zouk and World Cup together is not a good combination (:-P.. blaming other stuffs pulak but nvm la)

Really felt like pampering myself after one gruelsome week at work so went to 1U to shop and had a nice dinner at Ms. Read.

Had sheppard's pie and spicy seafood spaghetti for the night which was rather nice all in all.
It's been a while since I last had the sheppard pie where if my memory serves me right was like half a year back then. Nvm the history, the pie was so good and I had like 2 of them back then :-P and it still tasted as good now compared to then. Two thumbs up for Sheppard's Pie!
However, the spicy seafood spaghettti wasn't that outstanding. As its name suggests I was expecting some sort of "kick" from the dried chillies but all there was none =.=". But the portion of seafood was generous enough to compensate for the disapppointment.

One thing that sightly irked me was the spillage on the bowl of the sheppard's pie. But doesn't matter much cz I LURVE THE PIE!

Saturday Evening

Ahh... it's nice to have a warm shower after clubbing. Teehee, i was quite surprised to reach home at 5 am to see mom and dad still awake watching Argentina vs Mexico. I thought they would be kinda pissed cause I went out almost an hour later after reaching home from Melacca. To my surprise they did not gave me lectures instead asked me to watch with them =.=".

Honestly I'm feeling very guity already cause I've not been spending much quality time with my family so shall make amendments for that tmrw...oh it's already Sunday, so I'll bring them to a nice place for lunch then after I get recharged.

Went shopping in the evening and bought 2 shirts each from Topshop and Seed which I really liked them. Special thanks to J who patiently tagged along and picking the shirts for me for which I appreciated a lot.. THKZ!!

Starbucks Coffee: Sumatra Decaf -Extra Bold

Since I’ve been camping here for like 4 days so I thought it’ll be appropriate to give some comments on the coffees that me and MK had sampled for the time being. I’ll start with the Sumatra Decaf -Extra Bold (SDEB).

Ok , where was I.. Ah, SDEB right.. It is served at SB when one order the CoffeeByPress (CBP) which comes in either 4C or 8C sizes.

At RM 21.55 after the 10% discount for the 8C, it's rather affordable given that you can have like 8 regular sized cups of coffee, cookies and last but not least the free wifi access here too.

I'm not a coffee enthusiast so I know nothing about the jargons that come with coffee mapping therefore this review would be in layman terms.

One would immediately notice the rather thicker texture that comes with this blend compared to the ala carte coffees that SB serves. The aroma and colour of SDEB did not really stood out so I'll just skip this part straight to the tasting section.

The initial taste that hits the tongue be the normal bitter that one would expect, but this one leaves a rather zingy zest in the mouth after making it's way down the oesphagus which is inviting given that the day had been quite monotonous.

One should not judge a coffee by it's appearance, though it looks full bodied but it does not give that "oomph" that most morning coffees have, instead it is light enough to have it during the night without me worrying going hyper at bedtime. Might be because it's decaffed, nonetheless perfect for night time coffee drinking.

This post was suppose to be uploaded last night but due to some complications it had to be postponed till tonight. Nonetheless, here it is.

Finally!! Arrgh! was stuck for like an hour here just trying to access this blog..GGRRR.. like I haven't gotten enough ups and downs for a day. Today was one hell of a roller coaster ride, started the day quite ok actually, then the morning rush hour came where prescriptions and ward orders had to be done -- which was all in a days work thus no complaints on that. HOWEVER, the printer decided to go on holiday so ended up the labels for all the medications had to be HANDWRITTEN!! By the time the stuffs were done I was already exhausted, there were more prescriptions coming in but was saved by the lunch time bell so me and mk bailed a.s.a.p.

Some of the juniors back at college were having CIH assessment then so did a short prayer for them while having lunch (hopefully some of them got it la). Went window shopping while mk bought some stuff. Went back to work at 1330 and was char siewing for another two hours (managed to sleep for like ten minutes) when boss suddenly came over and ask us to prepare for a presentation. WTH, I only came here like 3 days ago and now he wants us to comment about the stuffs happening in the dept. Ishish.. spent my next hour or so counting DF 118 tabs and cracking my head thinking of how to tell boss I TARAK MAU BUAT LA~~~~~!

Anyways, prescriptions came piling in as time approached 1730. What are the doctors doing for the whole afternoon?! Of all time have to wait until the time for us to cabut then only give us so much work to do. But we managed to finished the job (efficient mar) and YESH!! Cabut and camp in our usual place la-- Starbuck!

Then hyper hyper wanna upload blog ended up getting "Connection Lost".. =.="

It's a 4 out of 5 for this album.

Aish, here goes my virgin post (which was suppose to be on another blog but anyways here's a preview of it then) with a psychostimulant. I now present to you Ritalina® 10mg (Methylphenidat HCl).

Here comes the boring mundane part, pharmacology. This baby acts by stimulating the central nervous system namely cortical stimulations in the brain as sildenafil citrate aka Viagra® would give to ______ :-P.

It is indicated for Attention-Deficit-Hyperactivity-Disorder (ADHD) to treat abnormal behavioral syndrome though there are other..erm.. "recreational" applications to it.

Due to its stimulatory property, Ritalina® falls in the dangerous drug category as Metamfetamine.

So much for the bla bla bla stuffs, Ritalina® comes in a box containing 2 blisters pack of 10 tabs each which amounts to around RM70/box. So, anyone who wanna get mentally stimulated go watch world cup, Brad Pitt's pics or something. Won't hurt your pocket and health.

I've been stoning in Melaka Starbucks for the past 20 minutes already, partly fueled by the boredom here by not being able to access GuildWars and the person sitting right opposite me happily occupying his time with his blog.

So i decided to start one of my own then.

Hmm, since this was an unprecedented event, this post shall be more wordings but I'll be back with more pics and stuffs to post when I get my own camera.
